Selecting a first aid training provider

All of our qualifications are fully accredited and recognised across the UK. We are committed to exceeding the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) minimum standards for first aid training providers, ensuring a high-quality training experience. A full list of the HSE criteria we surpass is available below.

Further guidance on selecting a first aid training provider can be found in the HSE’s recommendations. Since the first aid industry was deregulated in 2013, there is no longer a requirement for externally regulated certification.

HOW WE COMPLY

  1. All of our trainers and assessors hold current ‘First Aid at Work’ qualifications as a minimum and all hold relevant teaching qualifications.
  2. We have a dedicated and qualified ‘Quality Assurance Officer’ and fully documented ‘Course Evaluation’ and ‘Complaints’ procedures.
If you are unsure which first aid course is most appropriate, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
  3. All of our courses are taught in accordance with current guidelines on adult basic life support published by the Resuscitation Council (UK).
  4. All of our courses have been designed by experts in the field to exceed the requirements for course content set by the HSE. See Appendix 1 & 2 in the HSE’s document on selecting a first-aid training provider.
  5. Our certificates are accredited accordingly and include all necessary details as outlined by the HSE.
