What This Course Covers
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition. A family member, a friend, a colleague or even yourself.
This course is open to everybody, but it is especially made to help employers develop a positive mental health culture in the workplace. This course will offer learners a comprehensive understanding of a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to act accordingly.
Participants of this course can be qualified First Aiders for Mental Health and can be a point of contact in the workplace to help and support those who need it.
This course builds on the 4 hour ‘Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health’ and develops a comprehensive Mental Health Action Plan that enables participants to provide support and guidance for a suspected condition.
This course also covers the effects of drugs and alcohol and equips learners with the skills and knowledge to aid employers in setting up a positive mental health culture to support their workers in the workplace.

Course Prices
Bookings up to 4 individuals
£130 + VAT per person
Groups of 5 – 8
£600 + VAT per group
Groups of 9 – 12
£800 + VAT per group
Qualification
Your ‘First Aid for Mental Health’ qualification will be valid for 3 years from the date that you finish your training. Should you wish to renew your certificate you will need to attend another 6 hour, First Aid for Mental Health course.
Should you require additional FAA & Ofqual external accreditation, we can provide this on any of our courses.
As FAA accreditation is processed externally, there is an additional £15.00 surcharge for each attendee you wish to regulate.

Private Groups
We are happy to run any of our first aid training courses as private groups at either your venue or one of our training centers.
There are no additional fees for us to come out to you as long as some parking is available for your instructor.

Training 5 Or More People? If so then have you considred a private group?
Private group training is available for any of our first aid courses, with great discounts on group bookings.
We can either host these at our dedicated training centre in the heart of Exeter, or we can come to you. Why not let us make your life easier by delivering the training at your own venue, at no extra cost? We bring all of our own equipment, and will simply need some parking to be available for your instructor.
