First Aid Training Courses
1.1
Completion of payment confirms your acceptance of these booking terms and constitutes formal registration on the selected course.
1.2
Any request to change a course date after a booking has been confirmed will be treated as a cancellation. This policy reflects the commitments made to instructors and venues, and the financial impact of late changes. All cancellation and refund terms will therefore apply.
1.3
First Aid Exeter reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to circumstances beyond its control. Where this occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to notify participants as soon as possible and will work with you to arrange alternative dates that are mutually convenient. No liability will be incurred in such cases.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
2.1
Course bookings may be cancelled at any time. Refunds are issued according to the following schedule:
-
Cancellations made more than 10 full days before the course date will receive a full refund, less a £10 administration fee.
-
Cancellations made between 10 and 4 days prior to the course date will receive a 50% refund.
-
Cancellations made within 3 full days of the course date are non-refundable.
2.2
Participant substitutions are permitted at no additional cost, provided the replacement attendee meets the course eligibility requirements.
Participant Qualifications
3.1
For qualification-based courses, participants must demonstrate both an understanding of the course principles and competence in the practical techniques taught. While First Aid Exeter is committed to delivering high-quality, fair and impartial training, attendance alone does not guarantee successful certification.
General Terms
4.1
First Aid Exeter delivers training in line with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and reserves the right to update course content as standards evolve. Training materials will be amended accordingly, and no liability is accepted for such changes.
4.2
All prices and course specifications are accurate at the time of publication but may be amended without prior notice.
4.3
You agree to provide any information reasonably required to enable us to deliver our services effectively.
4.4
Except in cases of fraud, wilful default, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, First Aid Exeter shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, goodwill or anticipated savings. Any liability for direct loss shall be limited to the value of the course fees paid.
4.5
No amendment to these terms will be valid unless agreed in writing by a director of First Aid Exeter.
4.6
These terms apply in full and override any other terms you may attempt to introduce through purchase orders, booking confirmations or other documents. Any variation must be agreed in writing and signed by a director of First Aid Exeter.
4.7
First Aid Exeter reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
